Early Start for NFL's RedZone Channel

The NFL will launch its own RedZone Channel this season, per its agreements with Comcast Cable and networks CBS and Fox back in May. However as of now it will only be available on Comcast, as the NFL once again finds itself in carriage negotiations with other cable providers. The show will not be a simulcast of DirecTV's RedZone Channel, but rather a different version of the same concept that will be produced by the NFL Network in its studios.
